Our client, a fast growing licensed cannabis company, is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant with experience in a production and manufacturing environment.
 
They are looking for a detail-oriented, high energy and motivated individual with an entrepreneurial spirit to help with daily accounting functions including financial reporting, payroll and helping with month-end close.
 
In this role you will assist with preparing
 <ul>
<li>Monthly accruals</li>
<li>AP and AR processing experience</li>
<li>Assisting with preparing monthly financial statements</li>
<li>Do month end variance analysis</li>
<li>Assist with Bi-weekly Payroll processing</li>
<li>Input Journal Entries and accruals</li>
<li>Handle inter-company transaction accounting</li>
</ul>
Requirements
 <ul>
<li>AA or BA in Accounting</li>
<li>5 years of accounting experience in an established corporation</li>
<li>Payroll processing experience</li>
<li>Quickbooks experience a plus</li>
</ul>
Salary - $45-$50k
