Staff Accountant

Title: Accountant

Minimum Experience : 5 years

Espinoza Consulting Services (ECS) has an opening for an Accountant to support the general business operations of a small environmental firm. This is a part-time position located out of ECS’ southern Colorado headquarters (10-20/hr per month to start). Candidate MUST have a CPA and experience in QuickBooks . The job will entail working with our bookkeeper to ensure proper accounting ledgers and monthly and yearly reporting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Over 5 years’ experience with corporate accounting, auditing, preparation of financial statements, and assist with information requests for year-end tax returns.
• Possess strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must have at least 5 years’ experience working with QuickBooks, as well as MS Office Suite.
• Good understanding of Federal and State laws, as they apply.
• Good organizational skills, a positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
• Employment is also subject to drug and alcohol testing, and background check.
