Summary:
This position is responsible for providing regulatory compliance support and guidance to MedMen’s cultivation and manufacturing groups and develop easy to reference regulatory guides to support applicable compliance needs.
Essential Functions:
Learn and stay up-to-date with California cannabis regulations and other jurisdictions as deemed necessary
Collaborate with cultivation and manufacturing teams to enhance compliant processes
Create and enhance standard operating procedures
Partner with senior member of supported team and provide real-time compliance support
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree
5+ years of compliance/operations/regulatory experience in any of the following industries: cannabis, pharmaceutical, motor vehicle manufacturing or petroleum manufacturing
Project management experience leading cross-functional teams
Experience with new processes implementation, including on-going support, is required
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
Cannabis regulation and/or product knowledge is a plus
Prior experience working with cannabis cultivation or manufacturing is a plus
Ability to draft succinct memos, business correspondences and procedures is a plus
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel:
This position may require travel from time to time.
