SOUS CHEF
Assist the head chef
Kitchen Operations
- Operate efficiently, effectively, and professionally
- Produce high quality product
- Comply and enforce any sanitation and safety requirements
- Record and keep up on production boards
- Prepare lab samples
- Help where needed baking, cleaning, assisting other chefs
Training
Cleaning
Reports directly to head chef. As second in command the sous chef follows the head chef’s specifications and guidelines. Responsible for baking and assisting the head chef where needed. Must be able to follow instructions and react quickly even in high stress environments. Needs strong communication skills, attention to detail, and flexibility.
