JOB SUMMARY
Cresco Labs is seeking a Sourcing Analyst to join our corporate office in Chicago, IL. The Sourcing Analyst will be responsible for handling the company’s end to end sourcing operations, including direct, indirect, and capital spending projects. The successful candidate will be able to appraise and improve our sourcing activities by analyzing the company’s spending, developing new partnerships and value-added negotiations.
CORE JOB DUTIES
- Performs detailed data analysis to track and monitor spend for ingredients purchased and measure versus baseline costs
- Analyze and calculate costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to improve service, quality, delivery, and cost KPI’s and improve enterprise value.
- Generate and implement efficient sourcing and category management strategies
- Quantify benefits of sourcing initiatives, including expected savings, baseline spend info, inventory and turns benefits, etc.
- Optimize sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency
- Works with stakeholders and suppliers to assess, analyze, and implement procurement solutions that reduce cost and business risk
- Estimate risks and apply risk minimizing techniques
- Analyze current inventory and consumption data and ensure that organization is properly materially positioned.
- Discover and partner with trustworthy vendors and suppliers
- Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS
- 2-5 years’ experience in supply chain, sourcing or related field
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in supply chain or engineering discipline
- Ability to excel in fast paced, high change organization
- Ability to transition quickly from strategic level to very tactical level
- Ability to develop and execute best practices and process controls
- Experience in manufacturing environment, including experience with ERP and systems development
- Knowledge of developing budgets and standards
- Experience in a highly regulated industry preferred
