Social Media Intern

Responsibilities

• Maintain the social media profiles for the various brands within our network
• Create a monthly calendar, schedule, content, and report on both organic and paid campaigns across all social channels (Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, etc.)
• Provide analysis on social media data to provide insights and recommendations to develop new effective campaigns and adapt existing ones
• Partner with the Sales and Marketing team to develop and integrate social media campaigns
• Monitor and moderate discussions on the brand’s social media communities
• Identify and develop relationships with brand ambassadors and influencers in the cannabis industry
• Continuously support the launch of new products, marketing various promotions, partnership and more
• Stay in-the-know of all social media trends and best practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant social media management, PR or agency experience
• Excellent written and verbal skills, editorial judgement and knowledge of digital space
• Well versed with social media networks (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.)
• Must have knowledge of photo, audio and video editing software
• Must have their own equipment to take photographs, edit content, etc.
• Passionate about the cannabis industry and pop culture
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights, weekends and some holidays as required
• Candidate MUST provide specific examples of their work

Job Types: Temporary, Internship

Salary: $16.00 /hour

Experience:

• Social Media: 2 years (Preferred)
• Marketing: 1 year (Preferred)
