Social Media Intern

Traffic Roots is a Cannabis Ad Network looking for a motivated interns looking to expand their knowledge with the Internet marketing world and become part of an expanding team of professionals in a creative environment. You can be a student who is a marketing/communication major or a student that is just interested in marketing, advertising, public relations or communications. Our prime candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with extensive interest in Internet marketing & advertising, social media marketing, design and learning from and becoming a creative visionary. Experience in PhotoShop, Illustrator and/or any other design software is highly desirable. You must have a working knowledge of social media. We are on every social media platform out there; LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, Google +,... We could go on. You will learn how to take these platforms and build a marketable brand with full understanding of how to capture the audience you desire. On the flip side, you will also learn how to decipher the analytics of each one of the platforms we use. Internet marketing, social media marketing and PR are essential to all businesses and are only becoming more important as mobile devices expand and as people move away from traditional advertising (TV, newspaper and print). We look forward to bringing someone in that is ready to be a part of a young, professional and knowledgeable environment.

The Internship program is unpaid requires a minimum 3 to 4 month commitment, and could lead to a paid position upon successful completion.

Requirements:

* Candidate should be pursuing a degree or career in graphic design or digital media at an accredited university or school

* Candidate must be available to intern 16-24 hours per week for approximately 3 months
