Beta Wave Digital is really excited to be growing at the rate we are! However, we need talented creatives to ensure we are able to keep with our growing demand. The perfect candidate will be a motivated self-starter that is constantly searching for opportunities to create fun, engaging content for our clients and our two businesses (Beta Wave & Startcasting). We work with some of Portland's most well-known food establishments, commercial developers, and cannabis stores.

Beta Wave Digital provides a variety of marketing services to its clients such as content posting and creation, campaign development, website design, and more.

We are searching for a Social Media Coordinator / Digital Content Coordinator / Digital Project Coordinator. We know that is a lot of slashes but we are a young and exploding company.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a social media calendar with relevant social media holidays, local events and happenings and anything else that may be relevant to any of our clients such as Trailblazer games, Blue Festival and the like.
  • Create ENGAGING social media content with the use of copy, images, videos and any other relevant mediums to keep branding fresh and fun.
  • Run monthly analytic reports for our clients on their online presence.
  • Maintain communication and contact lists with local news stations, bloggers, and social media influencers.
  • Record live video for streaming on social platforms.
  • Perform photoshoots for clients when needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness.
  • Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries.
  • Report on online reviews and feedback from customers and fans.
  • Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics.
  • Oversee social media accounts’ layout.
  • Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions and competitions.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Social media professional
  • Expertise in multiple social media platforms
  • Intermediate experience with DSLR photography
  • Graphic design experience
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
  • Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels
  • Ability to grasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Multitasking and analytical skills
  • BS degree in Marketing, New media or relevant field
