JOB DESCRIPTION: Shop Helper is responsible in assisting in general metal shop needs. Monday to Friday, 9 am start time, from $15/hour to start, immediate hire. Assist to ensure that any order is ready for shipment and will operate correctly to ensure customer satisfaction. Load and off load equipment and assist in inventory control. Maintain a safe, clean and organized shop environment.
QUALIFICATIONS: 1 year experience in fast paced metal shop work environment, will train the right person Knowledge of metal shop procedures, techniques, tools, and basic warehouse procedures Hand tools, Power tools Familiarity of standard machines drill press, band saw, cold saw and chop-saw Accuracy, Organized Competence, Multi-task Accountability, Self-starter Flexibility, May require mandatory over-time Positive attitude, Team worker Prioritization, Schedule management Time management, Deadlines.
