Shipping and Receiving Clerk

About our company:

We are a wholesale distributor of head shop accessories and tobacco paraphernalia. We are looking for new shipping and receiving clerks who are reliable and enjoy working in a casual, fun, and relaxed environment. Our warehouse is air conditioned and heated for a comfortable work environment. We care about our employees and are very selective in hiring new team members. Our management style is relaxed in comparison to most companies. You will not have a micro managing slave driver of a supervisor. You're encouraged to move at your own pace with an emphasis on accuracy and efficiency. Some days will be busier than others and you will be expected to work at a faster pace to meet deadlines. Outright laziness and attitude issues will absolutely not be tolerated.

Candidate should not have any reservations about working in the tobacco/cannabis/adult industry.

Candidate will be responsible for:

• Pulling and packing products for shipping.
• Printing shipping labels
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Counting and putting away inventory
• Keeping warehouse area safe and clean at all times

Qualifications:

• Reliable - Candidate is expected to be able to work their full scheduled shift. May be required to stay late unexpectedly on some days.
• Must of over 18
• Must be able to multitask
• Good verbal and written communications skills in English
• Good computer skills
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize
• Flexible and willing to change with the environment
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. independently
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time (sometimes over 8 hours per day)
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Positive attitude
• Work well independently and as a team

Compensation:

• $12.00 per hour (increases with seniority)
• Paid time off

Work Hours:

Monday Thru Friday

8am - 5pm

May be required to work overtime and some weekends

May be required to unexpectedly stay late on some days
