Position Summary
The Shipping/Receiving Associate position performs all tasks involved in the shipping and receiving of all company’s products. This position will be responsible for the timely packing, shipping and processing of customer orders, as well as properly receiving incoming deliveries. Must be detail oriented and will also ensure product order accuracy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Print packing lists to include in outgoing packages.
Prepare finished goods for delivery by pulling and packing products per the packing list.
Assist with loading outgoing delivery trucks; audit inventory with the delivery driver using shipping manifest(s).
Unload purchased product into the receiving area
Count and put away inventory into storage or quarantine areas. Ensure all product is properly labeled in the storage and/or quarantine area.
Keep warehouse area organized, safe and clean at all times.
Perform cycle counts as required by the Distribution Manager
Prepare for and perform physical inventory audits every two weeks as required by the BCC.
Prepare for and perform required testing during scheduled testing days. Ensure video is being recorded at the time of testing.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies quickly and efficiently.
Assist with general warehouse housekeeping to maintain inventory control and a safe work environment
Enter inventory data and transactions in warehouse management system (MJ Platform), as required.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Prefer at least 1-2 years of cycle counting experience within a managed inventory environment.
Must be detailed oriented and capable of demonstrating analytical problem-solving skills.
Prefer strong knowledge of computer application programs such as MS Office Products (Excel & Word)
Good verbal and written business communication skills.
Proficiency in basic math skills required.
Good organizational skills.
Knowledge of work flow principles for receiving, stocking, picking, staging and shipping.
Must be able to multi-task in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Proven time management skills with the ability to respond to time-critical issues and work overtime as needed to meet deadlines
High School Diploma or GED required.
Must be 21+ years of age.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This position involves sitting, walking and lifting less than 10 pounds for long periods of time throughout the day. Must be able to lift up to a maximum of 50 lbs. occasionally without assistance.
The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
