Job Description
The Senior Wellness Consultant is a supervisory role that reports to the General Manager. The Senior Wellness Consultant's main role is to supervise all other Wellness Consultants through coaching, training, observation, and follow up. The Senior Wellness Consultant should ensure the following: Making sure the Wellness Room runs smoothly, customer service is always the priority, and all current policies and procedures are being followed.
Duties and responsibilities
- Maintaining strong communication with management staff
- Ensuring all Wellness Consultants are aware of current and pertinent information
- Handling customer service issues
- Creating an enjoyable and productive work environment
- Participate in weekly manager's meetings
- Is solution driven and can take initiative
- Can adapt to change
Responsibilities also include but are not limited to the following:
- Opening/Closing Manager Duties
- Cash Handling/Deposits
- Communicate and enforce all current policies and procedures
- Supervising all Wellness Consultants:
- Ensure that customers are serviced to Caliva's standards as set forth in policies and procedures
- Ensure all Wellness Consultants are up to date on all communication from management
- All Wellness Consultants are using product knowledge when servicing customers
- Wellness Consultants are fulfilling all job requirements and performing to standard
- Breaks are being taken on time
- Wellness room is kept clean and organized
- Keep team motivated through contests and incentives
- Partner with Store Manager to develop any needed policies and procedures
- Communicate any purchasing/inventory needs
- Owning other specific assigned responsibilities (new-hire training, product knowledge, vendor relations, packaging/inventory support, marketing support, cash management, operations, facilities)
Qualifications/Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Knowledge of basic cannabis laws.
- Familiarity with medical cannabis strains, products and effects.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Must be able to pass a background check conducted by the San Jose Police Department.
- Must be reliable and dependable with a good work ethic.
- Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
