JOB SUMMARY
Cresco Labs is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our corporate operations team at our Chicago headquarters. As our Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing large-scale complex projects, deliverables, and implementation activities across multiple functions. As Senior Project Manager, you will need a broad-based understanding and depth of expertise across our disciplines to coordinate activities across teams of people to successfully deliver results and implementation plans per timelines in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate must possess strong project management and interpersonal skills, demonstrate organization and attention to detail, think strategically, motivate and influence teams without direct authority, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. The role will have direct interaction with senior leadership and will be involved in facilitating the company’s highest profile projects.
CORE JOB DUTIES
- Align project objectives/goals, deliverables, team members, and timelines

Example projects: new product launches, expansion to new states/markets, facility buildout plans, applications for new state licenses, inspection readiness, equipment design, testing, and implementation

Schedule and facilitate team meetings, discussion, and completion of action items. Document meeting minutes and action plans

Establish team norms, expectations, escalation points

Motivate and drive team to deliver results by target completion dates; hold responsible parties accountable for their responsibilities

Coordinate communication amongst team members to ensure smooth execution of action plans

Ensure presence of correct team members at meetings
- Establish and utilize project management best practices/templates

Participate in action items as necessary

Provide communication and updates on project progress

Understands linkages across functional activities: can see the relationship between activities and provide advice/consult on missing deliverables, timing of activities, impact of one action on downstream events that need to be considered, etc.
- Actively monitors project risks/issues, escalates in timely manner and drives teams to effective solutions
- Work collaboratively with all functions within the company: cultivation, laboratory, kitchen, packaging, order fulfillment, supply chain, quality/compliance, sales, engineering, technology, marketing, legal
- Develop guidelines and tools to replicate/scale-up similar initiatives across functions and states
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS
- 5+ years experience in project/program/implementation management

Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Quick learner – grasps essence quickly and uses information learned to apply elsewhere
