Senior Manager of Manufactured Infused Products (MIP) Full-Time in Denver, Colorado
The Senior Manager of Manufactured Infused Products is responsible for the planning executing, and overseeing all aspect of the functions of the Extraction, Kitchen, MIP R&D and MIP Packaging Departments. Supplying all departments daily needs in terms of leadership, direction and management functions as well as performing extensive research on improving processes while working closely with the compliance and analytics managers on a daily basis.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Oversee all MIP departments (Extractions, Kitchen, R&D, Packaging).

Work closely with the MIP Compliance Manager to ensure all compliance requirements are met including facilitation the immediate adjustment of practices to accommodate the dynamic changes that regularly occur.

Ensuring all management is following company defined protocols.

Enforce all company policies/regulations.

Performing disciplinary actions when assistance is required by the direct management of the MIP Departmental teams.

Manage employees, including hiring and developing, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining, addressing complaints and resolving employee issues.

Ensure all team members are performing assigned task to company standards.

Plan and carry out the management of daily departmental processes.

Maximize department efficiency.

Develop and maintain the management of Extraction, Kitchen, R&D and Packaging procedures.

Research and develop test ideas with the help of R&D department to improve processes.

Project and communicate with Senior Directors regarding future business endeavors.

Ensuring that sufficient supplies for Trim/Cure/Packaging are available.

Plan and carry out the management of cleaning and safety procedures.

Communicate with all departments for product requirement.

Communication with all teams regarding all processes.
-
Determine quality of product from each day’s production.

Monitor environment and lab safety.
-
Planning and managing schedules for cleaning of all equipment, supplies, and machinery.

Executing the management of the daily packaging needs defined by the Senior Manager of Distribution and directing the Grow packaging team leaders to accomplish this task.

Performs other duties as assigned.

- Provide leadership and direction to departmental employees to ensure the effective use and management of systems. Think in terms of operational effectiveness, accessibility, security, and scalability.
Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.

Ensure that workflow and work procedures are documented, and that appropriate controls and audits are in place to ensure data and processing integrity.
Leadership and Supervision
- Manage employees, including hiring and developing, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining, addressing complaints and resolving employee issues.

Provide technical leadership and managerial direction to designated employees.

Establish initial and ongoing training for employees to ensure an adequate level of understanding regarding guidelines, policies and procedures.

Ensure that individual and team performance meets the Company’s standards of service and quality.

Work collaboratively with all the Company’s employees and business partners.

Provide effective leadership to employees to ensure a complete understanding of and alignment to the Company’s vision, mission and values to maintain a positive work environment and a high level of morale.
Project Management
- Develop and manage projects, including defining project scope, resources and achieving deliverables on time and within budget.
Other Duties
- Other duties as assigned.
Supervision

Works under the direct supervision of the General Manager.

Job Qualifications
Work Experience
-
Previous Manufactured Infused Product experience preferred.

Previous Facility management preferred.
-
Demonstrated professionalism.

Demonstrated success in managing teams.

Knowledge of state and federal employment laws relating to key areas of responsibility.

Must be able to secure appropriate work credentials from the Colorado Department of Revenue, MED.
Education
