Our Senior District Manager, Northern California, is a dedicated self-starter whose role in the company is to implement our Northern California sales plans with our distributor partner. The responsibilities will include developing strong relationships with internal and external customers,leading and motivating the district’s sales team, achieving high sales targets and communicating those results with leadership. You will be responsible for fostering strong relationships to ensure industry-leading customer service.

Job Duties

  • Manage execution of Northern California sales plan;
  • Coach and motivate distributor sales team;
  • Ensure superior execution at retail in market;
  • Identify sales opportunities in market;
  • Execute monthly and quarterly strategic business objectives;
  • Analyze sales statistics to determine sales potential and inventory requirements and to monitor customers' preferences
  • Ensure compliance with laws and requirements under the state regulations; and
  • Any other necessary items that may arise to satisfy Company needs.

  • Regulatory compliance (marketing and sales related)
  • Ad hoc tasks as directed

Skills needed:

  • Meeting sales goals, negotiation, selling to customer needs, motivation for sales, sales planning, building relationships, coaching, managing processes, market knowledge, developing budgets, and staffing

Required Experience:

  • Prior sales experience;
  • Goal oriented, focused, energetic and assertive individual who needs little direction or supervision;
  • Proficient at collecting and preparing sales analytics;
  • Adaptable and able to assist a variety of internal customer groups and varying personality types;
  • Able to inspire, coach, and lead colleagues by example in an intense and fast-paced business environment;
  • Thrive on creating and selling innovative ideas and demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit; and
  • Strong negotiation skills.

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior sales experience in the alcohol, beer or consumer packaged goods industries.
  • Cannabis knowledge is a major plus.
