The Senior Director, Marketing role represents a fantastic opportunity to become part of this historic movement. Located in downtown San Francisco, this position reports into the SVP, Marketing and is a key member of the marketing leadership team.
We are seeking an experienced consumer marketer to bring our brand to life across customer touchpoints and build the business. You bring the toolkit of a classically trained marketer combined with start-up/private equity experience. You are a strong “big picture” strategist and an equally strong “doer” that rolls up their sleeves to make things happen. Last, you have a track record of driving results in a lean, fast-paced environment.
The Senior Director, Marketing, is responsible for the overall marketing strategy & implementation for the marketing team. This role works closely with a broad group of stakeholders to carry out the team mission. Accountabilities include:

Development of Eaze’s Brand strategy in collaboration with the SVP, Marketing; define the value proposition, positioning, targeting, RTBs and messaging. Implement the plan across all consumer touchpoints to generate awareness, drive conversion and reinforce brand equity at every point along the journey.

Lead go-to-market plans working with product, sales, customer service, operations and marketing teams across all channels. Launch insight-driven campaigns & execute promotions across channels to guide consumers across the marketing funnel. Drive integration across disciplines and be the keeper of a centralized marketing calendar to optimize investments.
- Be the “Voice of the Customer & Business” and champion customer experience efforts to delight consumers across the customer journey in collaboration with: Product, Growth, Sales, Operations, Communications and others. Understand the customer experience end-to-end, identify opportunities and develop business cases to initiate work streams. Ultimately, you will be building our CX capability, help define the governance structure and facilitate efforts.

Lead annual planning efforts for the department. Serve as mentor and champion for all marketing functions to deliver an integrated, compelling, high ROI plan.

Motivate, mentor and develop a team of 6-8. Partner with SVP, Marketing to develop training for marketing and partners.
Our ideal candidate has:

10+ years of marketing experience, BA/BS and MBA preferred.
- CPG Brand Management experience, with smaller company experience in a fast-paced, lean organization.

Complete marketing toolkit including strategy, traditional marketing mix and digital ‘know how’. You don’t need to be a performance marketer. You do need proven results in positioning, advertising, promotions, PR etc.

People Management: Experience with hiring, training and development of high performing marketers and helping them reach their potential.

General Management: Understanding of P&L & how marketing contributed to the overall vol/profit of the business. Ability to analyze data and uncover actionable insights. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to influence others.
