Job Description
The Senior Copywriter will be the organization’s chief storyteller bringing our portfolio of brands to life to various audiences across multiple channels. He/She will have a solid understanding of the brand portfolio strategy and positioning and will be skilled at writing in multiple brand voices in a clear, consistent and compelling manner. The Senior Copywriter will play an integral role in concepting and lead the copy development for all forms of marketing communications content including digital (website, email, blogs etc.), advertising, sales collateral, retail point-of-purchase, e-commerce, etc. This role will also be responsible for corporate communications including website content, assisting with investor relations presentations/collateral and internal employee communications.

Responsibilities

Develop and/or refine guidelines for brand voice and tone ensuring consistency across communications.

Collaborate with marketing team members, agencies and cross-functional partners to translate brand strategies into content that informs, engages and motivates target audiences across marketing channels.

Participate in concepting brainstorming sessions with marketing team and agency partners.

Assist as needed with public relations and social media communications.

Produce regular employee communications: e-newsletter, announcements, etc.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience as a professional copywriter preferably with agency experience

Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations or marketing

B2B and B2C writing experience preferred

Proficient in writing for multiple formats, long and short, editorial and marketing, etc.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Exceptional editing and proofreading skills

Highly creative and imaginative

Big picture thinking coupled with high attention to detail

Technical/scientific writing experience a plus

Strong project management and organizational skills
