Senior Compliance Auditor C/M – California (Culver City)

Summary:
As part of the Compliance Department the Auditor is responsible for conducting year-round compliance audits to ensure conformance of California region cultivation and manufacturing assets with State and Local Regulatory Requirements, and Operational Policies and Procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Create protocols for cultivation, manufacturing audits
  • Perform cultivation and manufacturing audits
  • Timely draft audit reports
  • Maintain CA Cultivation and Manufacturing related audit calendar
  • Schedule and perform audit follow-ups
  • Collaborate with cultivation and manufacturing teams and provide guidance on audit finding remediation
  • Stay on top of all applicable CA and Local Cultivation and Manufacturing regulations and update audit protocols as necessary
  • Collaborate with other departments on compliance inspections prior to new asset opening

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel:
This position will require some travel and can include out-of-the-area overnight travel.

Required Education and Experience:
1. Bachelor's degree (B.A.)
2. 4 + years of Compliance/Audit/Quality Control experience in any of the following industries: Cultivation/Agriculture and/or Manufacturing

Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
1. Cannabis regulation and/or product knowledge is a plus
2. Prior experience working with cannabis cultivation or manufacturing is a plus
3. Ability to draft succinct memos and business correspondences
4. MS Office Proficiency

This is not a management position.
