The backend team is in the middle of migrating from a .NET monolith to Node.js microservices. Experience with refactoring a ball of mud into a scalable and organized system while maintaining constant uptime advised. We’ve come a long way, and there are no remaining surprises, but we prize developers who know what’s good, as they’ve seen bad.
Our .Net codebase isn’t going away anytime soon, and we’re moving to .Net Core to make deploys easier. Interest in learning new technologies such as Node.js is required, but as we improve and refactor the current codebase, the urgency to move completely to Node.js fades. Expect to spend most of your time at first on the .Net codebase, but you will be given tastes of Node.js and will have the option to move into pure Node.js if you wish.

What we’re looking for:

Strong REST API design, swagger experience a plus

Interest in learning Node.js and moving in that direction career-wise

Experience jumping into a rapidly growing company/codebase and “doing the needful”
