Security Officer Job Description

The Security Officer maintains a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.He/She ensures the security of medical marijuana product, company records, and Temescal of Maryland employees at Temescal’s Dispensing facilities. He/She is also responsible for ensuring facility compliance to the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission (MMCC) regulations. Security personnel will be responsible for preventing both internal and external theft and will be responsible for the security of all Temescal products.

• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling the property
• Monitor the surveillance equipment
• Inspect buildings, equipment, and access points
• Check in visitors and permit entry to Temescal employees
• Assist with shipping and receiving
• Assist with maintaining landscaping
• Inspect building, equipment and access points and facilitate repairs
• General light maintenance
• Perform bag checks for employees leaving Temescal premises, as needed
• Check in the delivery of cannabis products to registered MD facilities
• Other duties as assignedSkills and Qualifications:

Former Military and Security experience is plus.

Must have a clean driving record.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $15.00 /hour
