GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: This position is ultimately in charge of the maintenance for the entire Company. This includes ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked, the common areas are cleaned, the walkways are free and clear for employees, any maintenance requests are completed. This position works closely with the General Manager to ensure a clean, compliant, enjoyable atmosphere for the rest of the employees and the Company as a whole.This is a position in the marijuana industry and requires a current Colorado MED issued badge to be worn at all times during your shift.

POSSIBLE JOB DUTIES:

Responsible for performing the following duties are accomplished daily at MC Brands Property.

  • Restrooms are cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies (soap, toilet paper, etc.)
  • All common use walk ways are swept and mopped
  • Excluded from this are
  • All grow rooms, Jason St kitchen, lab, packing area
  • Vacuum all carpeted floors
  • Trash is emptied in these areas
  • Multi use receptacles i.e. breakrooms, hallways, front entrances
  • Offices at all locations
  • Conference rooms
  • Clean & Dust
  • Conference rooms
  • Multi use areas including breakrooms, hallways, and windows/seals
  • Front door entrances
  • Snow and Ice Removal
  • Ensure ice melt is readily available
  • Walkways are shoveled

Help support preventive maintenance programs (PPM)

  • Air Filters
  • A/C units
  • Refrigerators
  • Freezers
  • Odor control execution plans
  • Water heater drainage
  • PC blow outs

Repairs and Maintenance Request

  • Requests from Departments will be sent to the GM
  • GM will decide if project will be done in-house or by outside vendor and assigned accordingly
  • Priority level will be decided by GM
  • Budget for project will be agreed upon by GM
  • Request will be put into “work order schedule” for completion and work order will be created
  • Work order completion must be signed off by dept manager or dept lead
  • Signed off work order will be turned into GM.
  • Project will be marked completed on “work order schedule” by GM

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Posses or able to obtain a Key Badge issued by the Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division.
  • Dependable mode of transportation.
  • Able to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Able to process simple mathematical equations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent certificate.
  • Cannabis knowledge and/or industry experience preferred.
  • Needs to be self-motivated with the ability to learn and take responsibility for their work environment.
  • Comfortable working with compressed gases.
  • General scientific mindset and problem solving skills.
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS:

While performing the duties of this job, you may frequently be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear and occasionally required to climb stairs/ladders; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; taste or smell. You will frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities usually required by this job include close, distance, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. You must make your supervisor aware of any allergies. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and is occasionally loud. While performing the duties of this job, you may be exposed to weather conditions prevailing at the time.

VII. WORKING SITUATIONS:

Requires some variable hours and on call response after regular business hours to meet the needs of the business. Requires some weekend, holiday and evening work for events or the ability to arrange coverage. These times include but are not limited to; holidays, fundraisers, events, etc. Local travel for business purposes and occasional overnight travel for events, training, etc. may also be required.
