Job Description:

Keystone State Testing, a well-established testing, research and development bio technology firm, providing services to the MMJ industry is currently seeking Laboratory Technicians to work in our analytical department.

We are seeking key personnel to come join one of the most dynamic and fastest growing teams in the country.

Laboratory Technician Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Prepare samples for analysis using various methods in accordance with ISO standard operating procedures.

- Data handling and report preparation.

- Equipment familiarity preferred but not required (HPLC, LC, GC, IC, MS)

- Perform various microbiological tests for MMJ products such as total plate count, yeast and mold count, ETB, SL, etc.

- Perform various tests for pharmaceutical grade products such as Microbiological Examination of Non Sterile Products, Antimicrobial Effectiveness, Stability, Sterility Test, Environmental Monitoring, etc.

- Work in fast paced, dynamic environment

- Visit client facilities to perform sampling.

- Perform inventory of supplies and media.

- Assist with other analysis as needed.

- Evaluate data, trouble shooting, and/or process improvements.

An ideal candidate would possess:

- Physics/Chemistry/Biology or General Lab experience

- B.S in any of the above sciences preferred but not required. Candidates with strong science backgrounds are encouraged to apply. - Must be fluent with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word. -Familiarization with a wide range of analysis methods, sampling equipment and instrumentation a plus. - Self-motivated, responsible individual with good communication skills and willingness to learn and progress over time through consistent dedication and training. The position requires the individual to multi-task, be independent/self-sufficient, and be flexible and participates in a team environment. - Quality Control experience - High attention to detail

- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high pressure environment, while maintaining a high level of quality - Adherence to safety protocols - Conscientious and responsible.

Pass a background check and have no prior felonies or drug related convictions.
