Job Description:

Position is for Sales Support Associate in the organic soil additives industry.

  • Fast growing, new stage development company ( profitable )
  • Michigan territory; with occasional US travel
  • Primary customers are in the Cannabis industry
  • Reporting into sales leader & executive management

Responsibilities:

  • Target and develop new opportunities for leads, through research, trade & professional associations, lists, referrals & campaigns
  • Develop strong lead information via phone, email, and/or in-person visits with prospects & clients in designated market areas to qualify leads and continue to follow up
  • Collect, analyze and evaluate information to increase productivity of sales
  • Follow up with customers to assure satisfaction, respond to inquiries, solicit further sales, solve or refer any issues, and solicit leads/referrals for other prospective customers
  • Primary liaison between prospects and sales team
  • Track and support outside sales to provide solutions to a number of customers in regions
  • Ensure that Corporate databases (SalesForce.com) have current prospect and client contact information and all internal systems are consistent; prepare monthly, weekly & daily sales reports and analysis
  • Assist sales team with proposal preparation, agreements, sales reports and presentations
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Company and industry, including: key competitors, terminology, technology, trends, challenges, government regulations
  • Communicate industry and market insight, information, trends and direction with management
  • Assist in the sales strategy for successful achievement of company forecasts and growth targets including revenue and market penetration.

Requirements - Must show PROVEN skills in the following:

  • Ability in building and developing new sales leads within territory with massive growth
  • Sound sales/closure ability
  • Experience in the Cannabis industry as a sales supplier to the market
  • Exemplary oral and written communication skills
  • Superior time management and reporting skills
  • Ability to take the lead and exceed expectations
  • Bachelor's Degree and Preferred Field of Study: Business, Finance or Marketing
  • 2+ years in a proven successful sales support position as true Brand Ambassador
  • Strong ability to define and resolve problems including generating alternative solutions
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses
