Mt. Hood Cannabis Co in Rhododendron, OR is looking to hire LOCAL hardworking, dedicated individuals. We are currently seeking Budtenders with excellent customer service and sales experience. All applicants Must Be 21+ and possess a valid Marijuana Handlers Permit.
Familiarity with POS systems and industry experience is a plus.
Looking for those already in the Rhododendron area. Applicants who live further than 1/2 hr drive will not be considered.
Job Descriptions: Our staff is responsible for helping customers and building customer relations, selling and up-selling, cleaning and organizing, working cash register, weighing product, and other daily retail duties. We're looking for individuals who are comfortable with computers.Must be able to obtain a Marijuana Handlers License, be able to stand for long periods of time, have reliable transportation, and be available to work weekends and holidays.
QUALIFICATIONS: 1 year customer service and cash handling experience preferred
Must be on time and ready to work when scheduled
Reliable Transportation to and from work
Cannabis knowledge is a plus
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent minimum
Budtender RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for sales and customer experience by maintaining a tidy, safe, and inviting store environment
Ensure the sales floor is properly stocked and the presence of the store is well maintained
Promote a work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, and compliant with established policies and procedures
Responsible for retail product knowledge
Answering the phone and greeting walk-in customers
Accurately use and maintain the Point Of Sale (POS) system with cash handling and discount application
Accurate and timely data entry of patient profiles
Verifying proper paperwork, documentation and ID for customers
Store organization and cleanliness
Other duties as assigned by the Management Team
SKILLS and/or ABILITIES:
Exceptional Customer Service skills
Desire to learn about products and latest medical research
Knowledge of basic computer skills, Point of Sale software and cash management
Strong attention to detail and a team-player mentality
Fun attitude and strong work ethic
Must be able to accommodate scheduling expectations including weekend, evening, and holiday shifts
Honoring shift start and end times by being on time for full shift
Understanding of applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, personnel law, safety regulations, local municipal codes and organizational rules, regulations, directives and standard operating procedures.
