Cannabis Producer Looking for Sales Rep/Account Manager

Cannabis producer located near Rogue River is looking to fill one full-time sales position. We are a family owned producer with a Mixed Tier II farm based on the beliefs of professionalism, sustainability, and quality. We are looking for an outside sales rep to increase our ability to forge new business partnerships with retailers and manage existing accounts.

Duties and Responsibilities

-Expand client base.
-Create new sales opportunities through frequent calls and visits to potential leads.
-Maintain records of leads and contacts and check back at regular intervals.
-Service and maintain all accounts that you acquire.
-Keep existing accounts informed of products added to our lineup, and contact leads to see if new product creates an opening on their shelves.

Be an ambassador of our company.

-Understand our farm's ethos and philosophy and be able to speak knowledgeably about who we are, what we do, why we do it, the products we offer, and what sets us apart from the competition.
-Present yourself professionally and cultivate solid relationships with all contacts possible.
-Pay attention to customer preferences and requests, as well as market trends, and present this information to the company to help inform planning and customer satisfaction.
-Obtain and maintain excellent product knowledge across the product line.

Work well within company structure.

-Communicate frequently and clearly to other salespeople and management in order to coordinate multiple moving parts.
-Utilize any and all systems put in place to facilitate the sales process.
-Be independently motivated
-This position will include a large portion of time spent working remotely and on the road.
-Candidate must be independently motivated to succeed, without a manager looking over each step of the process.
-Must be able to engage with digital organization and accountability tools provided.
-Must be willing to drive for a significant portion of the work week.

Compliance

You must be able to:
-Learn all of the applicable OLCC rules
-Learn our procedures for complying with the OLCC rules
-Follow both of these protocols.
-Understand product tracking and all regulatory issues involved with doing business in this industry.

Working Conditions

Hours are flexible. This is a full-time position expected to work at least 40 hours per week. Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations required for working in this industry. There is a no cannabis consumption on the job policy for this position.

*Qualifications, Required & Requested Skills

Minimum Qualifications*

-Over 21 years of age
-One-year sales experience.
-Some cannabis knowledge and experience preferred.
-Basic proficiency with Excel and Word, and/or Google Sheets and Docs
-Driver's License
-Reliable transportation is a MUST
-Very good attention to detail

Must be able to obtain OLCC Marijuana Worker Permit if you do not already have one. (Must be able to pass background check.)
OLCC permit is required before any placement can occur. It can take 3-5 weeks, so it is strongly recommended that you start the process early.
