Job Description:

We are looking for a personable field sales representative to help execute our sales methodology, service existing stores and land new stores. The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with customers, qualifying prospects and managing sales of cannabis edibles and flower products. Position(s) will be based out of western Washington (office in Tacoma) and possibly eastern Washington (kitchen/farm in Coulee City).

The company is in the process of acquiring investor financing and anticipates fast growth. We are essentially an "old start-up" in that we started in the medical cannabis days several years ago, and have many combined years of experience in creating, making, selling and delivering yummy edibles products. We currently operate out of a kitchen at our farm in Coulee City but have recently opened a new Tacoma facility and are rushing to open up a new Tacoma kitchen. We have an industry veteran running sales that has grown operations from scratch to over 300 stores, and who has a unique selling methodology he can teach you. You should have all the things you need to be successful.

We pay a base + commission that is near the high end of our competitors, and have kick-ass systems and processes that ensure delivery quality and accuracy. We will also pay a small hourly rate for you to go through training and pay a higher commission on your first three bakery orders, plus cash kickers for various monthly incentives, such as bringing on new stores. We do reimburse for gas and pay a mobile phone subsidy. You'll need to work like crazy in the first few months until you have around 50 accounts and a decent income. At that point you can pretty much decide how much money you want to make.

Responsibilities

  • “Get the sale” using proven customer sales methods (preparing and delivering samples, store visits and follow-up calls, vendor days etc.)
  • Forecast sales and track through the company CRM and Order Management system
  • Evaluate customers skills, needs and build productive long lasting relationships
  • Meet personal and team sales targets
  • Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads
  • Report and provide feedback to management using the company CRM system
  • Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience
  • Track record of under-promising and over-delivering
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
  • A demonstrated passion for the Cannabis industry
  • Cannabis retail experience a plus but not required
  • Computer use competency
  • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Self motivated and driven
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent desired but not required
