Enterprise Sales Manager Description
Our client is seeking a talented and competitive Sales Manager that thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic startup. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in developing the strategy (market segmentation, prospect prioritization, branding & messaging) as well as tactics (scripts, one-pagers, demos, drip campaigns, workflows) to achieve our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. This is a full-time position working remotely. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree, 4+ years of selling software solutions, and experience selling in the cannabis industry..

Our client provides a data toolkit that helps licensed cannabis businesses earn more & stress less. They are a venture-backed startup based out of Boulder, Colorado.
Job Purpose
Generate significant revenue with licensed cannabis businesses by assisting in the creation & management of various sales channels.
Duties
The job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Achieve monthly sales and / or channel goals as assigned by management
- Develop new business within a specified territory and or vertical market(s)
- Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory or vertical market(s) * Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding needs and communicating effectively to our team
- Proactively develop upsell opportunities with existing accounts * Create strategy, materials, and processes to achieve sales goals
- Maintain and improve quality results by following standards; recommend improved policies and procedures * Document communications, notes, workflows and best practices
- Track all client interactions within our CRM
- Manage KPIs within the CRM and present progress to CEO
- Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team * Manage recruiting, onboarding, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
- Travel encompasses less than 30% of your schedule
Skills/Qualifications
Required
- 4+ years of direct software sales experience
- Demonstrated ability to generate net new customers with strong desire to WIN
- Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
- Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets (please be specific)
- Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization and all levels of data sophistication
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
- BA/BS degree or equivalent
Strongly preferred
- Experience with cannabis industry and established licensed business network
- Enterprise software sales; high end professional consulting sales accepted
- Channel management experience
- Experience working with HubSpot
- Experience with startups

Overall compensation package includes:
