Role: Sales Manager

We are working with a client that has developed and implemented scientifically proven systems for commercial-scale cannabis cultivation, resulting in superior quality, with higher yields, at the lowest costs. They focus specifically on the following:
PLANT NUTRITION
Their proprietary fertilizer enables us to focus on the health of our grow room, and the cost savings enables them to reinvest in the expansion of their core business.
- High Yields- an average of 90g/sq ft per year
- Low Costs- an average of less than 7 cents per gram
GENETICS
Their genetic work dates back nearly 20 years and has benefitted from collaborations with some of the industry's leading authorities. Their breeding program focuses on plant vitality, abundant terpenes, and robust cannabinoid production. Specifically, they are focused on Cannabis strain chemotyping and its potential medicinal and recreational applications.

3) OPERATIONS
We design our facilities to leverage the latest technology in environmental control, seed to sale tracking, and workforce monitoring. We maximize the efficiency of all aspects of cultivation. We have expertise in every stage of the process.

Skills/Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of directly handling complex sales cycles with large account customers, preferably in a greenhouse or horticulture environment.
- Proven and verifiable successful track record in sales in a fast-paced, results-oriented culture
- Comfortable calling on executives, owners and line employees for both business and technical functions (e.g., CEOs/presidents/CFOs, growers, financial managers, and energy/facilities managers)
- Outstanding interpersonal skills in working with customers, partners and teammates across all functions
- This position requires travel. This position requires travel throughout Southern California
- Demonstrated ability to be effective while working remotely, e.g., from a home office, and while traveling
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred, and work experience in sales/account management, minimum 4 years
