Job Title: Sales Manager

Reports to: CEO

Direct Reports: Sales Associates

FLSA Exemption: Exempt

Division: Sales

Travel required (% of time): Majority of the time (75% or greater)

Summary We are looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to help Prime Wellness of PA meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential and crafting sales plans using strategic planning and executional skills.

This position supervises a Sales team and possesses strong interpersonal and skills, highly organized, trustworthy, works calmly under pressure and with minimal supervision. As a representative of the company, the Sales Manager must have and maintain a clean and responsible appearance.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Passionate, professional advocate for Prime Wellness of PA, our mission and values
  • Achieving growth and hitting targets by designing, implementing and reporting progress against a strategic sales plan, which expands the company’s customer base and ensures its strong presence at retail. Keeps abreast of and analyzes current trends to help inform and shape our sales strategy; stays relevant.
  • Demonstrates an aptitude for successfully managing assigned accounts and the Sales team.
  • Managing recruiting, objective setting, coaching, training and performance monitoring of Sales Associates for prospecting, acquisition and retention (especially for long term supply and purchase agreements).
  • Building and promoting long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Assists Sales Associates with contract negotiations and closing the sale, especially with strategic customers.
  • Consistently monitors competitive activity and proactively develops constructive solutions
  • Ability to travel across the state to engage with customers to their satisfaction.
  • Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

Education and Work Experience:

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business management (certain science or engineering disciplines may apply). Minimum of 5 successful years of sales and customer service experience; the majority of which involves supervising a sales team. Experience in a sales role in health care or in the legal cannabis industry is preferred, but not required.

Required Training and Other Requirements:

Must complete any training required by the Pennsylvania Medical Marijuana Program and must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Must also maintain a valid driver’s license.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have proficiency in using word processing software; spreadsheet software; and e-mail systems. Knowledge of the Internet and client relationship management software is also required. Will be trained on the MJ Freeway platform for sales order / fulfillment.

  • Peripheral Vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point);
