Reports To
The Sales Manager will report to the Program Director overseeing the Sales, Customer Service and Distribution departments.
Job Overview
The Sales Manager will be tasked with overseeing a portfolio of products to be distributed to OLCC recreational dispensaries. This individual will recruit, manage and support a sales staff while measuring their performance on units sold and profitability. Additionally, it will be the responsibility of the Sales Manager to review the current sales program and improve on SOP’s, while implementing the needed systems and processes to assure its success.
Responsibilities and Duties· Review current sales program and plan. Submit objectives to management for future implementations and goals.· Manage Oregon sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.· Establish sales goals and objectives for sales representatives and the program as a whole. Develop system to accurately measure the success of the established sales goals.· Determines annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies, analyzing trends and results.· Execute monthly sales reviews with customers to review newly opened stores, sell through rates, profitability and a go-forward strategy.· Through management of a CRM program, establish appropriate product mix for each territory, market and dispensary assuring all market demographics are being attended to.· Establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.· Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.Qualifications
