Job Description:

Friendly Farms is a Northern California based vape and concentrates company with rapid sales growth. We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Director to manage sales of premium products through multiple channels: distribution, white label and direct sales. The company headquarters is inNorthern Californiabut sales responsibility spans throughout the state. The candidate will maintain a variety of active, very important accounts and will lead the effort to grow new revenue and the sales team in general. The candidate must have a proven track record of selling consumer product goods and strong sales skills, including prospecting, forecasting, account planning, negotiating and closing supply agreements.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct and coordinate company sales strategy
  • Establish sales territories, quotas, and goals
  • Analyze sales statistics to determine sales potential and inventory requirements and monitor the preferences of customers
  • Analyze sales data on sales results and develop plans to address performance gaps
  • Manage existing accounts and establish new accounts
  • Achieve bookings and revenue targets
  • Grow and develop both distribution and direct dispensary relationships
  • Collaborate with marketing executives to develop lead generation plans
  • Advise on supply thresholds
  • Report on product opportunities in the marketplace
  • Train outside distribution sales teams and internal sales associates
  • Travel up to >50%

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years proven experience in market-based selling into retail environment
  • Effectively work in collaboration within a multidisciplinary team environment and comfortable communicating with senior executives
  • Advanced knowledge of GSuite and Salesforce or similar systems
  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales targets
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Start-up minded

  • Ability to work as part of a team in a rapidly developing marketplace
  • Relationship building from executive level to retail buyers to end consumer
  • Understanding of finance, accounting and sales contracts
  • Ability to manage contracts and opportunities in a CRM system
  • Ability to manage sales bookings and invoicing in an ERP system

In addition to base salary there will be significant performance based incentives which could increase salary 2x.

Must be willing to live in Sacramento Area.
