Sweet Cannabis is seeking a vibrant Sales Associate to join our vibrant and fun-loving team. This position will be responsible for the sales and distribution of the Sweet Cannabis portfolio to retail accounts in the State of Nevada. Acting as a liaison between the organization, new and existing clients, this person must be well versed in the company’s products, marketing goals and needs. Demonstrating strong relationship building skills, the Sales Associate will develop new business relationships as well as sales and marketing opportunities at an account level. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the sale and distribution of all products, meeting a high level of call frequency and ensuring retail partners and Sales Managers are regularly informed.

Job Description:

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Performing extensive research to ensure in depth knowledge of all products and sales cycles;
  • Identifying opportunities and developing new business relationships to grow the Sweet Cannabis market;
  • Oversight and execution of product sales and distribution to partner accounts;
  • Organize regular client meetings and call frequencies to discuss requirements;
  • Manage Sweet Cannabis product mix including price monitoring and sale at account level;
  • Collaborate with senior level management, partners and relevant stakeholders to build market presence and poise Sweet Cannabis brand for future growth;
  • Identify market and competitive trends, reviewing sales history and promotional activity to determine retail inventory levels;
  • Ensure consistent reporting to Sales Manager, outlining sales performance and analytics;
  • Proactively address clients’ needs and facilitate the sales process from beginning to the end;
  • Ensure budget, distribution and volume targets are met; meeting or exceeding predetermined goals and objectives;
  • Work closely with Accounts Receivable, conveying new items and pricing strategies, and ensuring all retail accounts remain in good standing;
  • Drive sales team performance;
  • Completion of other tasks as required by Sales and Senior level managers.

Qualifications:

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems;
  • Working knowledge of Nevada Cannabis industry;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word);
  • Demonstrated experience in organizing, executing and working consumer-facing marketing events;
  • Good understanding of sales performance metrics;

Skills:

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills;
  • Demonstrated analytical, decision-making, presentation and management skills;
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills;
  • Well-developed conflict resolution skills, with ability to be proactive and resolve issues effectively;

  • Ability to learn and adapt in a dynamic and changing landscape;
  • Ability to coordinate, track and manage numerous parallel activities, working with minimal supervision (i.e. self-motivated and willing to stretch to meet important deadlines);
  • Must be self-motivated, independent and able to work with minimal supervision;
  • Ability to grasp clients’ needs while increasing customer engagement; and
  • Business acumen and ability to achieve sales targets.

Other Qualifications and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, advertising, journalism or marketing strongly preferred);
  • Must be at least 21 years of age;
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a sales professional; and
  • Must possess a vehicle and a clean driving record.
