We need a strong Director in place that can take our business to the next level while obtaining more brand recognition and connecting us to our community. Ultimately we are looking for passionate individuals to help the public fall in love with our top shelf products.
Marketing Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, reconcile, and forecast related marketing budgets.
- Research and evaluate marketing opportunities and demand for potential products.
- Arrange and attend industry events, in-store pop ups, an co-branded marketing campaigns.
- Work effectively to coordinate with ambassadors prior to an event, place order for event deliverable, and ensure deliverables are promptly received and returned upon each activation.
- Clearly understand merchandising standards (i.e product flow, SKU priorities by channel, display merchandising, pricing, etc)
- Ensure product is stocked at all retailers and presentable at all times
- Educate budtenders and management about our company and the benefits and functionality of all SKUs
- Manage our creative, media and other related agency and partner relationships.
- Ensure effective branded marketing communications, including website, social media, print collateral, and advertising campaigns.
- Analyze ROI for our marketing efforts including their contribution to the effectiveness of sales and marketing campaigns.
Sales Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create and implement strategic statewide sales plan.
- Develop and manage sales budget
- Coordinate your team including sales and distribution, quotas, targets, and deliverables.
- New account and new revenue origination.
- Meet or exceed assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue sales quota goals.
- Maintain a culture of excellence in outstanding customer service and communication.
- Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors.
- Mine for customer needs and insights, and determine solutions to meet those needs.
- Weekly communication with Operations department.
- Monitor sales through Leaflink and coordinate execution of orders with data team
- Grow sales by keeping current with industry trends, competitors, and supply and demand.
- Prepare sales reports identifying opportunities, market segments, and sales forecasts.
- Follow company policies for security, compliance, inventory tracking, HR, etc.
- Must maintain current knowledge of all state and local laws and regulations.
- Other duties as needed
Qualifications
- 2+ years directing a sales teams in the cannabis industry.
- Relationships with decision makers within the Colorado cannabis industry.
- Detail oriented and very organized.
- Above average analytical skills
- Driven, motivated and hardworking
- Can work independently, without on-location supervision.
- Able to lift 30 lbs
- Must be a Colorado resident.
Job Types: Full-time, Commission
Salary: $35,000.00 to $75,000.00 /year
