Sales Account Executive Medical/Adult-use Cannabis Industry

Calyx Brands - helps producers and manufacturers get their legal cannabis products into dispensaries and delivery services through a licensed distribution network. We represent more than 25 top brands and >300 products including premium cannabis flower, giving our account executives great earning potential.

If you have experience in field sales--especially if you have a background in pharmaceuticals, wine/beer/spirits sales or in the cannabis industry--and want to enter an explosive industry where you also help patients, then this could be a great opportunity for you.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Represent top brands of medical and adult-use cannabis products into a large sales territory in the South Bay - San Jose/Santa Cruz/Monterey

• Hit monthly sales targets to achieve commission and bonus goals.

• Demonstrated ability to learn product benefits and to suggestively sell to buyers.

• Be dedicated to providing excellent customer service and to develop a professional working relationship with dispensary management and buyers to effectively meet company objectives.

• Use HighRise (sales tool) and Slack (sales social media tool) to accurately record sales activity and to effectively communicate throughout the sales day with other reps and with management across a statewide sales network.

• Follow company policies, procedures, and position responsibilities

• Excellent time management and self management skills

• Participate in internal meetings to create product packages, sales processes, communicate and coordinate sales, report on sales activities, implement new products, solve problems, and keep up-to-date with information

Experience/familiarity with the cannabis industry is a plus.

University degree preferred; high school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Field sales experience required.

Computer Skills: Proficient use of (and must own) a personal computer, mobile smart phone, printer and be familiar with Adobe, Word, Excel, and Outlook.Tools.

Must have access to reliable transportation and a valid California driver's license. The reliable transportation must be able to transport you and task materials up to forty miles from your home to execute a variety of work.
