We are seeking a key steward for the impact of retail marketing on the growth of brand awareness and revenue for Papa & Barkley. You will partner with the Senior VP of Marketing to establish the retail marketing strategy and manage retailer marketing and promotional programs ensuring they are brand-right and yield a positive ROI. With cross-functional teams, you’ll be developing and delivering product launch and on-going marketing support for all the channels we serve.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage retail marketing initiatives
  • Develop and communicate initiative goals in a measurable way, partnering with Senior VP of Marketing to align with brand goals and sales/distribution strategies.
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase brand awareness, drive traffic, and increase sales throughout our retail network including both brick and mortar and ecommerce businesses.
  • Develop scalable retail marketing, promotional programs and in-store events that are supported with an ROI.
  • Routinely share program results, industry trends and creative inspiration with the rest of the team to help keep them results-oriented
  • Serve as the main point of contact for our top accounts and develop marketing plans for our top 20 accounts.
  • Develop in conjunction with the broader marketing team, specific display, swag, and collateral ideas for our accounts.
  • Will be accountable and responsible for window shopping key accounts, ensuring displays are accurate, that Demo days are schedule and that we are the best vendor for our retail partners.
  • Find opportunities to access data where needed and be able to understand how we are performing across key retail partners.
  • Work cross functionally to implement retail events, education activities, and to be the voice of P&B to our retail partners.
  • Contribute to the development of all brand marketing strategies and planning at the retail level
  • Create & submit marketing briefs & serve as the liaison between sales and marketing to ensure timelines and flawless execution
  • Responsible for attending retail conferences and retail events as needed. Position may require travel.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of retail marketing experience, preferably with a lifestyle brand and Ecommerce
  • Proven track record managing multiple streams of work- from brief through creative development to execution and is a stickler for details and deadline
  • Entrepreneurial, self-starter, and resourceful- someone who will thrive in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Technology savvy with a solid understanding of the web, MS Office, Photoshop, online marketing, direct marketing and social media practices
  • Excellent project management skills, and ability to manage several projects simultaneously, prioritize appropriately, and drive for results
  • Extremely detail-oriented, outstanding organizational and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to build relationships, work effectively independently, and in a team environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Master’s in Marketing, Communications, Business or equivalent
