The Company

Can It Nature’s Medicines (CAN IT) is an applicant for the Florida Medical Marijuana Treatment Center license.

The Role

This position in contingent on the approval to CAN IT of the MMTC Florida State License. In preparation, we are looking for a Retail Manager to run our dispensary retail operations in Florida.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the dispensary.
  • Provide best-in-class customer service.
  • Manage and lead the dispensary technicians team in accordance with Company’s mission, vision, goals, and objectives.
  • Maintains quality customer service by establishing and enforcing company standards and handling customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of every product and strain in the store, as well as industry-wide product knowledge.
  • Responsible for monitoring and maintaining inventory levels.
  • Help customers make the right product choices by knowing how different methods of cannabis consumption affect our patients differently and suggesting dosage starting points and upward titration for inexperienced patients.
  • Verification of proper paperwork, documentation and ID for patients.
  • Accurate use and maintenance of the Point of Sale (POS) system.
  • Accurate and timely data entry of patient profiles in both the POS system and the regulatory electronic verification systems.
  • Ensure that all sales are compliant and tracked in seed-to-sale tracking system.
  • Assistance in verifying order deliveries for accuracy.
  • Security measures and safety compliance.
  • Maintenance of an organized and clean store.
  • Management of visitor log.
  • Maintenance of open communication with the management team and other coworkers.
  • Reporting of team member issues or patient situations.
  • Ensure retail store operations run smoothly, properly, and in compliance with the applicable rules and regulations, including: Daily activities, maintenance, and patient information for any reported issues and/or complaints.
  • Train employees.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Participates in ongoing education and professional development opportunities as needed.
  • Maintain a positive attitude that promotes team work.
  • Work collectively and respectfully with other team members.
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Experience in management and in a regulated environment.
  • Retail, inventory and personnel management experience.
  • Pharmacy or cannabis experience, a plus.
  • Constant interpersonal communication.
  • Accountability for others.
  • Balanced and intuitive decision making.
  • Practical and proactive thinking.
  • Ability to use standard office equipment and computer software including word processing, database management, spreadsheet applications, and email.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or related experience, preferred.

Additional Requirements

  • Minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Possess valid driver’s license or state ID.
  • Must pass any and all required background checks.
  • Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
  • Basic understanding of the medical cannabis laws, rules and regulations set forth by the State.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Must be reliable and dependable with a good work ethic.
  • Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • This job function may include walking or standing for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over and/or crouching.
