Texas Vinyl Dispensary – Specialty Craft Store Round Rock, TX
Job Summary:
Responsible for the management of employees in the effective planning and implementation of all store processes, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and presentation. Position is approx 30-35 hours per week, includes every other Saturday.
To be a great fit for this role you should have a consistent work history and previous retail experience, experience as a manager or assistant manager a plus, but not required. A passion for customer service and team mentoring is also a plus.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Represent the store in a professional and positive manner
- Ensure all employees are fulfilling their job responsibilities and that store policies and procedures are followed by providing leadership and direction
- Assist in the development and modification of procedures and policies to cut costs and increase profits
- Ensure quality customer service and resolve customer complaints
- Develop relationships and place orders with suppliers
- Manage scheduling that maximizes staffing to most effectively meet the needs of the store and drive store profitability
- Help protect the store from theft by being aware of possible theft situations and eliminating them
- Assist owner in the planning and execution of floor displays and encouraging collaboration of ideas among team members
- Ensure all employee or customer conflicts are documented
- Collaborate with owner and marketing coordinator on store promotions and events and apply marketing strategies
- Arrange and implement initial and ongoing employee training
- Reprimand and terminate employees when necessary
- Communicate with owner and carry out their vision and philosophy in the operation
