Residential Mentor, Graveyard Shift, Rimrock Trails

Do you enjoy guiding, leading and teaching youth? Join Rimrock Trails in a role that impacts youth by guiding them in a healthier and happier direction. We are hiring for part-time and full-time openings. This position will be graveyard, working 4 days/week from 10pm-8am, full benefits included with a $500.00 signing bonus! Half of the bonus will be paid after 90 days, and the other half will be paid after 6 months.

Learn more about what you’d get to do in the Residential Mentor role:

• Coordinate and supervise outdoor activities, teach life skills and set healthy boundaries for your adolescent clients.
• Grow your capabilities of working with adolescents in the mental health field, specifically in the area of substance abuse.
• Stretch your leadership muscles.
• Work with a team that genuinely cares about our clients and employees.
• Gain experience in the field and pursue the following certifications; Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) and/or Qualified Mental Health Associates (QMHA).

Ideal candidates have the following:

• High school diploma/GED.
• 1 year experience working with youth (or adults) in a residential behavioral health or substance abuse setting is preferred.
• CADC certification preferred, but not required.
• Comfort leading and directing a group of adolescents.
• All successful new hires must have a valid Oregon driver’s license (or be able to get one) and have an insurable driving record.
• Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screen (to include Cannabis/THC/Marijuana).
• Ability to follow a presentable dress code
• Ability and willingness to regularly work swing shifts and weekends.
