Job Description:

To use prior training in population health and basic clinical research methodology to assist in the design and execution of diverse clinical and/or research studies. The Research Assistant is expected to excel in area of population health and observational research and is expected to learn new approaches to accomplish the research projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Performs methodology review to establish best methods in population studies referable to medicinal cannabis programs.
Collects and assembles clinical and observational data for any type of oral or written project or presentation.
Independently develops survey instruments for longitudinal observational studies.
Independently carries out literature and patient chart reviews to support instrument development and study documentation.
interacts with IRB for IRB evaluation and approval of studies as developed.
Independently prepares oral and written reports for the P.I. and for the Lambert Center on research to include, but not limited to: coherently and effectively communicating research activities by writing or assisting in writing abstracts, manuscripts, grant proposals and data reports for publications, grants, and oral presentations with corresponding slide presentations as required for PI and the Lambert Center, as well as for local and national meetings.

MPH or equivalent degree required at minimum. Previous research experience required.
