Position: Regional Operations Manager (Washington)

Reports To: Director of Operations

Job Overview

Have a Heart is a cannabis retailer headquartered in Seattle, Washington. We are entering an aggressive period of expansion and require a regional operations director to take over supervision and implementation of operational functions at our established locations in the state of Washington*. The ambitious individual we seek is well rounded, and capable of managing or collaborating with a diverse staff in addition to executing a wide variety of operational functions consistent with a rapidly growing retail business.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Ensure the smooth operation of our existing stores in Washington State
  • Manage, train and hire members of the maintenance team within the region of responsibility
  • Complete store inspection - and fix any possible issues - on a weekly basis to ensure our retail operations are complaint with cannabis laws and company policy.
  • Capable of physical exertion and manual labor, such as fixing display cases and electrical equipment with members of the maintenance team.
  • Utilize knowledge of cutting-edge technologies to boost organizational productivity and efficiency.
  • Work closely with the purchasing and marketing department to effectively implement changes at the store level.
  • Maintain and report on key metrics to senior management.
  • Develop and maintain the department’s budget.
  • Maintain and report out on key metrics to the Director of Operations.
  • Coordinate with the compliance team on ensuring stores meet standards set by governing authorities.
  • Capable of assessing the impact of change and develop processes to ensure effective implementation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required. Exceptional candidates without a college degree will still be considered.
  • 5+ of proven work experience in operations, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Comfortable with leading projects (scope, timeline, resources) and project management
  • Strong-interpersonal skills in order to work with both specialists and front-line employees.
