ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
PAX Labs is seeking a highly motivated Regional Manager for the Western Region (California and Nevada) who will help impact and manage the direction of our sales organization and be critical in building our business and shaping the future of our brand. They will serve as an integral member of the sales leadership team and will have significant impact and ownership on PAX’s sales expansion. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing Account Managers, P&L management, and has a strong knowledge of the regional marketplace which includes the regulatory landscape, brand partners, channels, and retailers.

Responsibilities include:
Sales

  • Establish goals, objectives and performance metrics that are based on business objectives.
  • Own the development and implementation of regional sales programs that will attract new key accounts and enhance sales to current customers to deliver required sales growth
  • Build “best practices” across the field teams; defining new opportunities, and maintaining the current and burgeoning base of business.
  • Increase regional segment share based on agreed metrics and goals.
  • Own forecasting models, including budget, dates, probability to close and inventory estimates
Business Development

  • Build strategic partnerships with high impact clients for longer-term relationships
  • Ensure that PAX customers and clients receive the highest level of sales and operational customer service
  • Provide leadership to a team responsible for selling the company’s products and services, developing new accounts and/or expanding existing accounts across regional market
  • Clearly communicate the values of PAX and our product offering
Management

  • Manage all Regional Account Managers to meet regional sales goals
  • Build and develop a “best-in-class” field sales team. In this capacity the Regional Manager will serve as a player /coach who leads and inspires others by their actions and engagement but also by motivating and mentoring colleagues as needed in order to rally the team, drive revenue and take the company to the next level of success.
  • Collaborate, inform, and interact with the VP of Sales on a regular basis
PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 7+ years of Sales experience, preferably outside sales
  • 3+ years Management experience
  • Proven success hiring and training sales teams.
  • Deep knowledge of the cannabis industry and products.
  • Experience in fast-cycle businesses with complex product lines and a heavy innovation component is important as is an ability to relate to a brand with a strong image component.
  • Prior success in impacting the top and bottom line through creating successful sales strategies.
  • A proven track record of opportunity identification, problem-solving and taking initiative.
  • Have proven ability to be successful in a less traditional or less hierarchical environment.
  • Regardless of career path, the successful candidate must have a track record of driving change.
