Curaleaf NY (subsidiary of Palliatech, Inc.) is a rapidly expanding, multi-state medical cannabis company dedicated to the needs of its patients. We are seeking an experienced administrative professional for a fast-growing company to provide support to the organization. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining a pleasant work environment ensuring elevated levels of organizational effectiveness, communication, and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring a secured front entrance and greeting all guests to the facility.
- Provide widespread support to visitors.
- Answer all incoming general phone calls and route accordingly.
- Provide general administrative support and help throughout the organization.
- e. mail, filing systems, ordering office equipment/supplies.
- Develop, implement and maintain general office procedures.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain Manager and IT department on all office equipment.
- Assist in the onboarding process for new hires.
- Scheduling meetings and appointments within the office.
- Coordinate meeting and conference calls as needed.
- Prepare meeting materials and assist with the development of PowerPoint, Adobe and Microsoft Word presentations.
- Work on general projects for the management team.
- Coordinate travel arrangements.
- Assist in planning in-house or off-site activities, like parties, celebrations and conferences.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Required skills:
- High School education (college preferred)
- Proven 3-5 years of Office manager or administrative experience.
- Expert knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Hands on experience with office machines (e.g. fax machines and printers)
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational planning skill sin a fast-paced environment.
- A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements.
- Must be a self-starter and work independently. Must manage own time effectively.
- Must be at least 21 years of age
