JOB TYPE: Full Time
SALARY: $15-$17 per hour, depending on experience
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday from 2pm-10:30pm OR Sunday-Wednesday from 12pm-8:30pm
SC Laboratories is the leader in quality assurance and regulatory compliance testing for the cannabis industry. Founded in 2010, SC Labs is a rapidly growing analytical laboratory that performs a variety of assays for this rapidly growing sector. With facilities in Northern and Southern California as well as Tigard, Oregon, SC Labs continues to experience rapid expansion.We are seeking to add on to our collaborative team environment within our Santa Cruz laboratory, and currently have an open position for aReceptionist.This position will also be one of our company ambassadors, so there will be a heavy amount of customer service interactions. Ideal candidates will be flexible and have a team-first mentality. You must be able to display strong administrative skills.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Use the phone system to quickly and efficiently answer/transfer calls to the appropriate departments or personnel in order to address customer concerns
- Work independently, proactively and adapt appropriately to changing priorities
- Effectively communicate and absorb scientific and company product knowledge
- Stay dynamic, multitask, and communicate to all levels, especially during busy times
- Interact with customers face to face during sample collection and submission
- Verification of samples and accurate completion of Sample Submission form
- Encourage the sale of company services at every opportunity and apply exemplary customer relationship skills that promote a superior company image
- Use the company's CRM to task appropriate personnel
- Receive deliveries and prepare packages for shipping
- Will be posting on WeedMaps.com
- Merchandise Inventory
- Ordering of office supplies/keeping office supplies stocked
- General office duties as required
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have experience handling a large daily call volume
- Must have reliable transportation and proof of insurance (may be occasional client pick-up needed)
- Must be fluent English Speaker (Bi-lingual candidates encouraged to apply) with a strong ability to communicate
- Previous experience in the cannabis industry is desired but not necessary, however, you must be comfortable working in a cannabis environment and handling cannabis products
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- 1-3 years of dedicated work experience in a customer service role
