The Grove is a new, licensed medical marijuana (MMJ) dispensary opening soon in La Mesa and we are searching for individuals to join our team. We are seeking talented individuals who want to help us make a difference in this industry and have a professional demeanor for an upscale, “boutique-style” dispensary. Applicants must have exceptional customer service skills and experience within the cannabis industry, or as an alternative, a strong background in hospitality, retail merchandising or management outside of the industry. Job Description:

The position of Receptionist is responsible for checking in new and existing patients per the City of La Mesa and State of California requirements, answering phones, creating patient profiles, and generally assisting where needed. Our receptionist is the first to greet our patients and begin a positive experience so a friendly, upbeat and welcoming personality is important.

Requirements:

• Excellent and pleasant reception skills with the ability to greet customers
• Excellent telephone skills
• Must be highly organized
• Must be proficient with computers
• Ability to effectively navigate Microsoft Office programs
• Competent filing ability
• A high degree of initiative and self-motivation
• Have knowledge of social media (Weed Maps and Leafly a plus)
• Ensure you are on time for each and every shift
• Excellent Communication skills
• Attention to Detail
• Multi-task Oriented
• Stress Management/Composure
• Ensure you and your uniform/clothing are clean and professional
• Some college education, 4-year degree (or beyond) preferred
• Must submit and pass a Department of Criminal Justice criminal background check (LiveScan)
• Have a valid California Medical Recommendation and a valid California ID
• Must be 21 years or older

Hours and Availability:

5-8 hour shifts between the hours of 7:00AM - 9:30PM. A Receptionist is expected to work three to five (3-5) shifts per week. A Receptionist must be available weekends, weekdays, evenings and holidays.
