Job Description

The Real Estate Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the process of acquiring new real estate locations and assisting with repurchase and sale-leaseback transactions. Working with various internal departments, and managing external relationships with brokers and other vendors, this position is responsible for selecting sites with high-profit potential.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Primary responsibility for new site selection across all markets for development and relocations.
  • Overall management of broker network across all markets.
  • Analysis of growth potential within each market.
  • Establish site selection standards and predictive sales analysis standards.
  • Primary responsibility for site selection negotiations in coordination with legal department for letters of intent, purchase agreements and ground leases.
  • Coordinate the management of due diligence and entitlements.
  • Work in coordination with New Markets and Operations
  • Conduct periodic market evaluation visits in each market.
  • Conduct site selection visits.

In this role, you will have the ability to make an impact and see real results from your work in addition to gaining or furthering your multi-state real estate and site selection experience. Ideally, we are looking for someone with up to 5 years of experience who is looking to grow with us and has the ability to work in a team to help move multiple projects forward to reach new growth and relocation goals.

The Real Estate Specialist will report to the Director of Real Estate and Facilities.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business or similar.
  • Graduate degree preferred Experience 3-5 years of experience working in corporate real estate and site selection.
  • Franchise experience a plus
  • Skill Requirements: Strong negotiation skills and demonstrated experience in the negotiation of letters of intent, purchase agreements, and ground leases.
  • Exceptional aptitude for site selection criteria.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to manage real estate brokers in multiple markets.
  • Heavy travel expected (50%+)
