POSITION SUMMARY
The Real Estate Manager will lead site acquisitions for a national retailer specializing in the
cannabis industry including, managing and developing tenant rep relationships, managing
entitlement work, attending municipal meetings as needed, attending site visits, and delivering
sites through to lease/purchase.

CORE JOB DUTIES
Manages a team of Florida based tenant reps to identify, review, and acquire real estate
via lease or purchase.
Leads regional real estate projects, including zoning research, analyzing and sourcing
lease/sale comparables.
Ensures zoning and entitlements are secured and completes necessary documents needed
to open retail locations.
Completes a check list of approvals needed for lease execution including distance
requirements and zoning verifications.
Maintains relevant real estate data bases.
Creates lease abstracts and other reports needed for real estate committee approvals.
Meets with local municipalities on an as needed basis to obtain conditional use permits or
attend hearings.
Performs site visits or tours of properties and develops a thorough analysis of retail
locations.
Able to enter a new real estate market quickly, access the market, and build a site
acquisitions team.
Implement and manage an internal developer program.
Attend retail trade shows to build relationships with national landlords

JOB SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS

Able to effectively communicate business updates with clear communication and open
dialogue.
Excellent understanding of real estate entitlements/zoning
Bachelor’s degree minimum
5+ years of experience in real estate development preferred
Understanding of leasing, terms, and experience negotiating letters of intent
Ability to think strategically and understand retail roll outs
Creative problem solving
Ability to work in a fast paced, constantly changing, and challenging environment
Analytically and communicatively intelligent
Possess strong interpersonal and relationship building abilities
Ability to focus on short and long term goals while working in a high stress environment
Ability to identify and solve problems quickly
JOB SCOPE
