Quality Control - Entry to Intermmediate Level

Position: Quality Inspector / Location: Culver City / Pay rate: $12-$14 / Shift: 1st shift / Bilingual: Must be bilingual, Spanish required / Temp to hire position.

Basic Overview:

The ideal candidate will be initiative while still being able to work in teams. You must have the technical capacity to perform quality control checks on Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) products. You will have to be organized while learning fast as you will be working along side the production cycle. To ensure items meet safety and company standards, you must be resourceful in your problem solving skills. Records inspection results by hand or computer for timely submission of reports. The employee is occasionally exposed to dust and loud noises. Ear and nose/mouth PPE is available to all employees.

Job Duties:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and walk for the duration of the production shift. The employee must infrequently lift up to 20 to 35 pounds.

• Assist in the monitoring of production operations to ensure meeting of standards
• Inspect and measure all PPE produced products visually
• Measure products with scales, calipers, and gauges.
• Perform basic Math calculations and utilize calculator.
• Follow documented sampling and inspection procedures.
• Remove all products and materials that fail to meet safety and company standards
• Report test data and results while utilizing spreadsheets for data collection.
• Interact and communicate effectively with production personnel and management as necessary,

Other Qualifications:

High School Diploma, or GED

Bilingual Speaker (English/Spanish) a plus+!

Pass background check (we go as far back as 8 years)

Pass drug test (that includes cannabis)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $12.00 to $14.00 /hour
