The Company

Can It Nature’s Medicines (CAN IT) is an applicant for the Florida Medical Marijuana Treatment Center license.

The Role

This position in contingent the approval to CAN IT of the MMTC Florida State License. In preparation, we are looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to assist the Quality Assurance Manager in our medical cannabis processing facility in Florida.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Quality Assurance Manager.
  • Participate in operational and compliance audits on a regular basis.
  • Involved in records review and report findings.
  • Facilitate quality investigations and report appropriately.
  • In-depth audits of Production facilities, including oral communication with staff, and follow-up with key personnel.
  • Inventory audits and reconciliation within operational areas.
  • Track and update Company’s SOPs to ensure adequate tools are available for appropriate training and understanding.
  • Investigate deviations and assignment of corrective action.
  • Ensure FDA CFR 21 and Good Manufacturing Practices, OSHA and Florida regulations are used during production and product testing.
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Experienced in CFR 21 drug manufacturing, product inspection, and medical marijuana inventory management/compliance.
  • Ability to use standard office equipment and computer software including word processing, database management, spreadsheet applications, and email.
  • Candidate must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Post-secondary diploma in science related technical discipline preferred.
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Individual must possess strong organized skills and be flexible with changing work priorities.
  • Balanced and intuitive decision making.
  • Excellent problem solving and decision-making ability.
  • High degree of personal integrity.
  • Scientific writing skills.
  • Interpret documents such as procedure manuals and operating instructions.

Additional Requirements

  • Minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Possess valid driver’s license or state ID
  • Must pass any and all required background checks.
  • Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
  • Basic understanding of the medical cannabis laws, rules and regulations set forth by the State.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Must be reliable and dependable with a good work ethic.
  • Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • This job function may include walking or standing for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over and/or crouching.
