Public Relations Specialist

JOB PURPOSE

The Public Relations Specialist will support the PR Director on media relations, events and influencer relations efforts, along with internal communication. The Public Relations Specialist will liaise between multiple departments to secure information and support logistics related to both internal and external communications strategies. This role will also support analytics tracking and will play a part in content development and social media.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Media relations support
• External and internal communications support
• Developing strategies to bring positive attention to our company and drive qualified traffic to Supplier Industries
• Producing engaging content for a variety of projects including newsletters, website copy and social media
• Liaising with media organizations and advertising agencies
• Tracking team successes and measuring value

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• You will be required to take the OLCC test and have your Marijuana Workers Permit prior to your start date
• 1-2 years’ experience in PR
• BS in Journalism, Communications or another similar field
• Strong understanding of media relations and social media
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

COMPENSATION

• Compensation depends on experience
