Part Time Licensed I 502 Marijuana Producer/Processor Position Available
A licensed Belfair Washington I-502 boutique Cannabis Producer/Processor is currently looking for an assistant primarily in our grow operation. We are beginning the prep for our outdoor summer grow and are looking for someone who is interested in serious agricultural labor. This position will report directly to our Master Grower and be involved in preparing the ground for planting, laying irrigation lines and planting clones. This position includes but is not limited to removal of rocks/stones, leveling the land, soil mixing, wheelbarrowing soil to plant area, cloning, transplanting, laying irrigation and maintaining weed control. As needed this position may be asked to assist with processing. This is a part time seasonal position. Must be over 21 years of age, able to lift 75 pounds and work hard. We are looking for a self starter who can take direction and is interested in learning every aspect about cannabis production that we have to offer. The schedule will be flexible, but must be able to work a minimum of 2 full days a week.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Willingness to learn from the ground up. Report to work on time and willing to work as assigned by the Master Grower. Along with assigned labor you maybe asked to participate in any of the following:
Cloning– Will take clones, maintain accurate inventory control for all clones.
Labeling– Will keep all plants over 8” in height identified with correct tags at all times.
Transplanting– Will assist with re-potting as needed.
Pruning and Topping- of plants as needed and directed.
Bamboo– Identify all plant needs for support and providing it in a timely manner.
Inspections– Responsible for inspecting for pests and disease and being accountable for making sure this task is completed and logged for LCB inspections.
Harvest– Assist with harvest of plants as assigned and directed.
Waste– Be responsible for disposing/recycling of all waste generated during the grow operation.
Fence work- Maintaining that the fence is compliant with all LCB regulations
Weed removal- Scotch broom, blackberries
Cleaning-Making sure that all areas of the farm are kept clean and orderly
Processing– Could include preparing/making pre-rolls, flower, labeling, packaging, etc.
Other duties as assigned.
This position is considered a non-management entry level part time position. This position does not include any relocation.
